On 21 July 2026, UMLAB Laboratory & Services (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd welcomed officers from the Agricultural Engineering Division of the Department of Agriculture Sarawak (Bahagian Kejuruteraan Pertanian, Jabatan Pertanian Sarawak) for a technical visit to our civil engineering laboratory (Makmal Kejuruteraan Awam) on Jalan Penrissen, Kuching.
Briefing and Welcome
The visit opened with a briefing for the delegation on UMLAB Sarawak's laboratory and site testing services, covering roads, soil, concrete, steel and water testing. This was followed by an exchange of souvenirs between the two organisations.
Laboratory Tour
The delegation then toured the laboratory, where our team walked them through the testing areas, the equipment used for materials testing, and how samples are received, prepared and tested.
The visit closed with a group photo outside the laboratory. We thank the Department of Agriculture Sarawak for their time and interest, and look forward to supporting their engineering works with reliable testing across Sarawak.
